
What I learnt in the video
- The most surprising and refreshing theory to me was that it only takes 5 users to test your app to find 85% of core usability questions. Conducting quick usability tests at a cafe is very effective and cheap.
- Boris Masis said: “You learn a lot from the first person you talk to, a little less from the next and so forth after the fifth user you’re wasting your time.” This explanation explains my confusion very well.


My experience with user testing


I have also found that the tone of voice when testing users is important, and it is best to be relaxed and open-minded in order to get more valid findings.
