Fewer words

The designer gives no explanation about the book and only shows a few images, which is clever because the viewer can understand what he is trying to do. And perhaps one realises that there may not be any text on all the pages of the book.

We seem to be living in an age where images and videos are so quick and concise that we have to admit that this medium saves people time. Of course, the authenticity and the durability of the memory are reduced compared to the traditional paper book.

Toys

This work is more like a toy, perhaps you open one of the books and there may not be a single word in it. But it is a book in appearance, so does it belong in a book? Whether the answer is yes or no, it does a good job of providing me with divergent thinking and it has a strong memory point.

Closure

The biggest bookshop in my city would undoubtedly close down if it lost the support of the local government. The government sees a city without a decent bookshop as a dangerous thing, but how to get citizens to want to read paper books is a difficult thing to solve.

Too Long Didn’t Read

There is no more ruthless comment on an essay than “Too long didn’t read”, which means that the professor’s presentation is long and illogical. Going back to book publishing, there are many bestsellers on the market and it is the content, not the design. I wanted to design a book without words that would convey the key content of the book to the reader.
